4. Product Information & Pricing

• We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, images, grades, weights, and pricing displayed on the Website are accurate.
• Slight variations in natural product characteristics (colour, size, texture, taste) may occur due to the seasonal and agricultural nature of makhana.
• All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. Export pricing is provided separately based on grade, quantity, destination, and shipping terms.
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and revise prices at any time. If a price change affects an order already placed, we will contact you before proceeding.
• Bulk, wholesale, private label, and export pricing is provided via formal quotation and may include separate terms not covered here.

5. Orders & Order Acceptance

• Placing an order on the Website or submitting an enquiry constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
• We reserve the right to accept, reject, or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of stock unavailability, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or non-compliance with these Terms.
• For custom, bulk, private label, and export orders, a formal purchase order or written confirmation of the quotation is required before production begins.
• Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), lead times, and payment terms for private label, bulk, wholesale, and export orders will be agreed separately in writing.

6. Payment Terms

• Payment for online retail purchases must be completed at checkout via the payment methods provided.
• For bulk, wholesale, private label, and export orders, payment terms (advance, milestone, LC, TT, or credit terms) will be specified in the quotation or purchase agreement.
• All payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Any applicable taxes, GST, customs duties, or international shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer unless expressly included in the quoted price.
• Delayed payments on wholesale, export, or credit-term orders may be subject to interest charges or supply suspension as per the agreement.

7. Shipping, Delivery & Risk

• Domestic Orders: Shipping timelines vary by location, product, and order size. Estimated delivery windows will be shared at checkout or in the order confirmation.
• Bulk & Wholesale: Delivery is arranged as per agreed logistics terms, either ex-warehouse, FOR destination, or through the buyer's nominated transporter.
• Export Orders: Shipments are arranged per agreed Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.). Customs duties, taxes, and import charges at the destination are the responsibility of the importer unless otherwise agreed.
• Risk in the goods passes to the buyer once dispatch is completed or in accordance with the applicable Incoterm.
• We are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, freight forwarders, customs authorities, natural events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

8.1 Retail (Website Purchases)

• Because makhana is a food product with limited shelf life and food-safety considerations, returns are only accepted in cases of damage in transit, incorrect product received, or manufacturing defect.
• Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details emailed to info@ruralbite.com.
• Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after the returned goods are received and inspected.
• Change-of-mind returns and requests to return opened or partially consumed products cannot be accepted.

8.2 Wholesale, Private Label, Export & HoReCa

• Custom-produced, private label, and export orders are non-cancellable once production has begun, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
• Any claims for damaged, short-supplied, or non-conforming goods must be raised within 7 days of delivery (domestic) or within the time frame stated in the export agreement.
• Resolution may include replacement, credit against future orders, or refund at our discretion.

9. Product Storage & Shelf Life

• Makhana should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Once opened, the product should be sealed and consumed within the timeline mentioned on the packaging for best quality.
• We are not liable for quality deterioration caused by improper storage after delivery.

10. Private Label, Bulk & Export Agreements

Private label, bulk, wholesale, HoReCa, and export engagements may involve additional terms — such as MOQs, lead times, packaging specifications, exclusivity, delivery schedules, quality parameters, and payment terms — which will be set out in a separate quotation, purchase order, or supply agreement. In case of any conflict, the terms of the specific written agreement will prevail over these general Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

• All content on the Website — including text, images, logos, product descriptions, packaging designs, graphics, and code — is owned by or licensed to RuralBite and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
• The "RuralBite" name and logo are proprietary marks. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
• For private label engagements, artwork, brand names, or designs supplied by the buyer remain the buyer's property. Similarly, RuralBite's recipes, processes, and know-how remain our property.

12. User Accounts

• If you create an account on our Website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
